I have the 3mb tier and I have not been capped for the past few days. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've not yet been in the position to download more than the 10Mb limit yet.

Crazy, can you confirm that the My Bandwith page (»myaccount.cableone.net/login.asp···dth.aspx) matches your estimated usage?

Also, did you try to get bumped to the 5Mb tier? From what I've read, 3Mb'ers can upgrade for free but need to call to make the change.

Yes I just upgraded to the 5Mb tier for free. I have just discovered the new "my bandwidth" meter. I have not exceeded the 2.5 GB since I have change to the 5 Mb tier, so I do not know if they are still cutting the bandwidth down by half.

Also, does anyone know what happens if you account is used "excessively" (ie using more than 3 GB of bandwidth for at least half of the days in you bill cycle?).

I would imagine that if CableOne is going through the effort of making a bandwidth meter, they intend on turning off the accounts of the customers that they deem are using more than their fair share of bandwidth.
