By the way, I would strongly encourage you to upgrade your BEFSX41 to the latest firmware 1.52.15. Mostly because 1.50.18 contains a few annoying bugs. You can read all about BEFSX41 firmware 1.50.18 here and about the BEFSX41 firmware 1.52.15 there.
As for replacement, a WRT54GL is a good choice due to high availability of 3rd party firmware. Good luck. |

| I used to have a dir-655 but because I upgraded to 1.31 firmware its unstable. I switched back to my BEFSX41 with Firmware Version: 1.50.18 is that the latest firmware and am I ok with it until the middle part of July until I can figure out what to replace the dir-655 with most likely a wrt54gl |
