If it's a line issue, it might be something you could fix, or it might need to be fixed by AT&T or whomever lines your ISP uses. First be sure you have DSL filters every place a phone is plugged into a jack. Then unplug all phones to see if that fixes the problem. If it does, replug each phone one at a time until the problem recurs which will indicate the last phone plugged in has a bad phone jack. If unplugging all phones doesn't fix the problem, it means the line problem is elsewhere, and you probably need to contact your ISP and/or AT&T or whomever lines the ISP uses. |
