I have never found multiple connections to slow down any one of my attached devices, but of course how much you are doing on a given computer such as heavy gaming/torrents/video streaming would be a different story. In that case, Tomato or DD-WRT may be a good option.

That router won't run Tomato. You need to find a v1 - v4 or get a WRT54GL. |
