On my 610N the indicator turning green means that I am connected gigabit. I know that the manual says the opposite, but I think that must be a typo, as my only gigabit attached device, a NAS which is gigabit connected, shows the green indicator rather than the standard blue indicators that my other non-gigabit wired devices show. -- Deeds, not words
