Re: Wrong aspect ratio on channel 11 - Dish SD. Other providers? It wasn't stretched, no. It pretty much looked widescreen, with the black bars at the bottom but with one change. The black bars on the side. The picture did not fill the entire screen. Just the middle. Kinda like a large picture in picture but with it covering 80 percent of the screen. It looks like i don't have your issue. The picture is back to normal now. I will look at it later.
Is it possible that when i see the black bars at the top and sides, your provider is stretching the image, but my provider isn't? If you run into it again, you can see if i am online and send me an IM and i can see what i am seeing on my end.
On the other hand, i could be completely wrong. Anybody's guess.
