I have the older Rebel XTi and I think you will enjoy the XS very much! As far as camera phone's goes I don't think you can beat the one's in the LG Dare's. |

Those are nice pictures. I had a old 35mm SLR Canon AE1 and never thought I would go to a digital one. Never go back! Check some of the wildlife pictures I have taken with my XTi:

Got a Palm Pre this week I picked up the Palm Pre this week.

The local store threw in a free car charger and I got Sprint to give me for free the Airave femtocell for 5 bars of coverage in the house. I also got a $60 credit for a years worth of monthly Airave fees.
I bought the cheapest individual + data plan for $70/mo.
So far I like the Palm Pre a lot. And it's performance and multi-tasking is impressive. I can run Pandora in the bgrd, take pics with the camera, & browse the web all at the same time.
And while the App store only has 30 apps at present, the 7 I selected will probably satisfy my needs for a very long time.
Also Sprint throws in all their Sprint TV shows as part of the data plan.
And the phone also works as a nav device with spoken instructions & maps routing you to your destination.
I have used my brother's iPhone 3g(not the 3gs) and I like the Palm Pre better.
And so far Palm has been proactive with OS upgrades. Two have been released since the phone came out 2 weeks ago. »kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/pre···html#103

| Wow, considering I use a Moro q9c and have never had an iPhone, that really doesn't apply.
I've spent time with the android phone and google totally missed the good old user friendly UI part. Nothing on that phone made me want one. Windows mobile isn't bad but it struggles IMO. I've used friends' and colleagues' iPhones and have enjoyed the experience. I have an iPod touch and it works great.
I have done my research and the iphone is what I want.

Re: Got a Palm Pre this week I'm on the SERO 500 plan, and Sprint has already said that those of us with this plan will never get the Pre. So I guess I'm stuck with the Centro and the like as long as I want the SERO pricing (which at $23/month for 500 minutes, etc., will be forever). |
