Re: [DIRECTV] Freeview (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz & SportsPa

I am very disappointed with the number of HD channels on the movie stations. STARZ offers the most at 4, from what I can tell. HBO only has 1 (E & W are the same), and Max 1 (again E & W identical), Showtime 3... I only subscribe to STARZ because of the extra HD stations and the numerous Encore addons. Some of the above movies are ones I'd like to see, but watching them in SD isn't easy to do anymore. Certainly the lack of HD streams does not make me to buy into their stations either. I welcome the free weekend, but I'm disappointed that there aren't as many HD stations as I'd thought.

All of the movies listed in the post above are playing in HD. I do agree with you though that it'll be nice when they finally get all their multiplex HD channels and offer all of them in HD.
