HSI Without TV?

Can I purchase high speed internet service from Comcast without being a cable TV subscriber?

If so, where do I look for rates?

Their websites seem to be very TV centric.

Thanks,

baumgrenze

Yes you can purchase high speed internet service from comcast without having to get cable tv.

you can always go to www.comcast.com and click shopping and put in your address and just click the high speed internet tab

74.95 for 16/2 is what I paid with hsi only (owned modem). Of course with all the fees and tax it totaled to 79.95

Here it's cheaper to get Limited basic and HSI than to have HSI alone.

Limited Basic $13.25 + HSI $42.95 = $56.20

Standalone HSI = $59.95

Thanks to everyone for the input.

I've not completed the pricing, but it appears that AT&T U-verse will probably be more economical.

I will try to remember to come back and report once I've got all the facts.

Thanks,

baumgrenze

I have phone and HSI 16/2 (no TV) with Comcast for $75 per month. That is cheaper than phone only with ATT.
The last ATT suport tech. in my house was physically and violently removed. Two days and Comcast had me up and running and I never looked back!

Short story.

After discovering how utterly ignorant he was, and that he was going to be no help. I told him I would need to see him leave so I could request help from someone who could, he began to verbally attack me. At which time I picked up everything of his I could find shoved it all into his arms grabbed his shirt collar and escorted him through the front door. He stood on my front porch while continuing the verbal tirade. As he took a breath I told him that ATT is no longer allowed in my house and that if he wanted to come across my threshold again I would enjoy the opportunity to handle it on a personal level. He then left mumbling under his breath. I turned around to discover that he had left the power supply and cord for his laptop. He has never returned or called to ask for it.

That was almost two years ago. I guess he did me a favor after all. I never realized how much a better deal and how much better the service I could get from Comcast until then.
