| reply to jefe Everyone should realize one very important thing.
If one day, everyone(extreme exaggeration) decides to move over to FiOS and start abusing the connection, enough places will start to come on here complaining about slow speeds, and poor uploads.
Every network has its limits, and I am pretty sure when enough customers switch over the problems will start.
sighs, I just hope that day hough never comes for FiOS. |

1 edit | reply to SoonFIOS Hey SoonFIOS...I don't know about you, but as an ex-OOLer myself I laughed out loud at the post a couple above where annonymous Senn says ".....but im just getting what i pad for that kinda sucks."
You think he'd get any sympathy over in OOL Land?
edit: Here's a typcial speed test I ran during peak hours in the evening:
Your speed troubles will be over on Monday. |

And for a capacity test, which everyone should use!

| reply to The Folsom Sorry if this may have been asked & answered already, but 33 pages is a bit much to fully parse...
... if I go online (or call) and change my plan to one of the new ones, when does it take effect? Immediately, or at the next billing cycle, or what?
Thanks, Fred |

| reply to JTBurn said by JTBurn :Thanks Jeep and Darc. The DC test server for Speedtest.net is having problems. I tried Ashburn, VA and got 25/25, which is awesome! Jeep, also like you pointed out - Visualware gave me 26/26. I'm a happy camper since I am paying for 25/15. JT For me the DC server is coming up faster for me for download. I can actually hit a negative fluff speed of 49.5 mbs from there compared to 47mbs from Asburn. But Asburn shows a better negative fluff upload at 19mbs compared with 16mbs for the DC site.
Still nothing like the speeds I had for a year before they borked my connection. |
