Link Logger posted : I'm not really a gamer, but I have tried it and rather enjoyed it, so I've played a couple of times. I must say however that the questions have had a definite American slant to them, but I guess for now at least that is to be expected given its likely Americans make up the largest percentage of players or people submitting questions, but I still enjoy it.

Blake
--
Vendor: Author of Link Logger which is a traffic analysis and firewall logging tool

TherapyChick posted : Yeah, 1v100 is a lot more fun than what I would have thought. I think there will be a small fee to play it later, but maybe not because they do have commercials in it.

I am sure they'll start having a lot more games like this, on a typical night they have 50-100K people playing.
--
Certified Medisoft reseller.

Ken posted : I have been seeing this game advertised a lot, but have resisted trying it. I had a friend who just started playing, so I played tonight from 8:00-10:00pm. At 10:00 it tried to download something for the next game and kept failing so I gave up. It's pretty fun for a free game, but I just wonder if it will stay a free game once it's out of beta. The game is definitely more fun to play with a couple people in your party, it's just more entertaining to compete against friends than strangers. I will say this is the first time since I bought my Xbox that my wife actually took interest in a game I was playing.

ominae posted : Forward your ports. XBL uses ports 88 and 3074. Make sure your Xbox 360 is set on a static IP (via the router) and open ports 88 (UDP) and 3074 (UDP/TCP). How you do this varies with the brand of router you are using.

This should resolve XBL chat issues and improve your connection to other players.

TherapyChick posted : Just curious how many of you play 1 vs 100 on the Xbox? I'm playing now (in between a break), pretty fun game.

And on a side note, when I started the game, a message popped up saying my NAT router settings were so high that some features of 1 vs 100 wouldn't work properly.

Turns out some of the live audio doesn't come through. Anyone see this message and know what to to fix it?
--
Certified Medisoft reseller.
