You can't have it both ways.
The bottom line is, the umpire didn't know the rules, and was suckered into making a bad call by an unscrupulous coach that had a "win at all costs" mentality and exhibited the worst of sportsmanship.

kudos:1 | That's why I hoped my last post cleared up my standing, I see nothing saying that they cant high five them. So I see no reason for them taking away the HR. Again I don't know if softball rules are different or NCAA. But I assume they don't follow MLB rules.
Regardless I officially change my position. Also what gets me is the coach forced the Ump to change the call. |
