I'm getting webbed feet

Can someone remind me what the sun looks like? Outside my window I see rain falling -surprise surprise. 4.25 inches of rain has fallen in Worcester this month. That's a record amount and it's only the 21st. The word rain is in the forecast for all the remaining days of June.
What do you think? Will the month end with 5 inches of rain?

Have the EPN folks sent this rain in retaliation for the snow we gave them last winter?

Pollen turned to mold/moss here. My lawn, which I don't encourage to grow, has. Empty motel, so free swim tonight.

Cape Cod Quahog: 11½ weeks of sunshine?
BOURNE — The Cape Cod Quahog didn't need its shadow to predict three months of sunshine — and it didn't need the sun, either.

With rain falling, about 30 Cape residents and business leaders celebrated the first day of summer yesterday at the first Cape Cod Quahog Day, a summer-themed event at the Quahog Republic Waterfront Eatery in Bourne.

Actually, I'm quite enjoying it ) My tomato plants aren't doing as well as they should but I *do* have two of the tiniest little cherry tomatoes that are about 1/8" across - my first, and nine more flowers in various stages I also harvested my basil and dill yesterday. My peas are growing like weeds but no pods yet.

My tomato plants are going to hell. As are some other plants. I am SOOOOO not happy. I've spent over 250 dollars on plants, so far. For what? To watch them rot in all the rain.....

The "official" numbers for the areas. ywmv
4.6 inches here right now. 6 days left. Both S words, Showers and Sun, are in the forecast. It might make it to 5.
Dkat's garden is an inch wetter, 5.6 inches. Both S words down there too.

Seattle has had less than 2 tenths of an inch.

I don't want to scare anyone, but I just looked outside, and there is a very bright object in the sky, surrounded by blue, and there appears to be shade under the trees.

I think it may be some kind of hallucination brought on by endless days of rain.

Maybe cape keeps doing the rain dance to keep the tourists away so he can play rather than work.

It started off crappy again this morning.
But at about noon, the sun broke out. Sky is blue, and it reached 78 degrees!

I LOVED IT

And I had the whole day off too!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did I do with it???? NOTHING! I just enjoyed the day.

Hit 80°, mowed lawn, de-weededed the gahden, trimmed a couple trees while so motivated.

I LOVE the tourists! Fresh faces, every out of state license plate reads "IAM-$$$".
Work wasn't bad: shuffled papers/looked busy till boss left, had a swim, a bite to eat, made some reservations, took some reservations, watched baseball game, cashed out and headed home @ 11:05.

We got a blast of sun yesterday afternoon too, and thunderstorms rolled through about 5:00 this morning. It's a bright overcast right now and the forecast is for cloudy/rain for the next week. I hope it clears up for the fireworks next week.

I was stunned to see some sun yesterday afternoon. About 5 minutes after it came out I heard about 5 lawnmowers start up in the neighborhood.

Looks like the sun is out now, but it's not really strong yet. There's a light cloud cover that's diffusing it nicely. I'm going to go see if my plants reacted to yesterday

Ugh! Last year I had a front row to the fireworks, unfortunately I could only see flashes in the fog/clouds. Of course, people complained...

Re: I'm getting webbed feet

I got some great shots last year but I fear they'll be rained out this year, or at least backed by clouds that will ruin my shots.

If the official measuring site got the same thunderstorm and downpour I just got, we've surpassed 5 inches of rain this month.
I've see flashes of lightening and felt the BANG of thunder less than half a second later a few times.

You got hammered in Worcester, we got nothing, not even a sprinkle, in Bedford! I'd rather have been there

Final total of June rainfall in Wormtown is 6.5 inches.
2.25 inches in the past 9 days.

And the next 3 days say rain.

While typing this, a downpour of rain has started.

I just mowed my lawn last night. I can afford to see another few days of rain without worrying of my yard becoming a rain forest.

More gray skies.
More fog.
More drizzle.

June left with rain, July is taking over.

I (very seriously) can't take any more rain, drizzle, fog, or gray sky.

30 days in June. 8 days of "all day" sun. Temps are about 15 degrees below normal.

I WANT SUN AND WARM WEATHER!!!!!!

Welcome to my world from about November until May/June, at least grey skys......the total amount of rain isn't all that bad though...mostly the annoying drizzle.

We got lucky this year........We have sun early We've had sun for about 2-3 weeks straight.

Re: I'm getting webbed feet

Don't know the rain totals here but we had torrential downpours until about 2pm. I drove past the carnival, and they hadn't even put it up yet!! It should have been up and running yesterday.
