I hope it clears up for the fireworks next week.

Ugh! Last year I had a front row to the fireworks, unfortunately I could only see flashes in the fog/clouds. Of course, people complained...

I got some great shots last year but I fear they'll be rained out this year, or at least backed by clouds that will ruin my shots.

If the official measuring site got the same thunderstorm and downpour I just got, we've surpassed 5 inches of rain this month.
I've see flashes of lightening and felt the BANG of thunder less than half a second later a few times.

You got hammered in Worcester, we got nothing, not even a sprinkle, in Bedford! I'd rather have been there

Final total of June rainfall in Wormtown is 6.5 inches.
2.25 inches in the past 9 days.

And the next 3 days say rain.

While typing this, a downpour of rain has started.

I just mowed my lawn last night. I can afford to see another few days of rain without worrying of my yard becoming a rain forest.

More gray skies.
More fog.
More drizzle.

June left with rain, July is taking over.

I (very seriously) can't take any more rain, drizzle, fog, or gray sky.

30 days in June. 8 days of "all day" sun. Temps are about 15 degrees below normal.

I WANT SUN AND WARM WEATHER!!!!!!

Welcome to my world from about November until May/June, at least grey skys......the total amount of rain isn't all that bad though...mostly the annoying drizzle.

We got lucky this year........We have sun early We've had sun for about 2-3 weeks straight.

Mosquitoes now...
My "Bat Condo" seems empty this year too. I'll have to sit out around sunset / sunrise and see how many are around.

Ya know, if this rain were snow my house would be completely buried under snow. It's almost been cold enough to be snow.

Don't know the rain totals here but we had torrential downpours until about 2pm. I drove past the carnival, and they hadn't even put it up yet!! It should have been up and running yesterday.

I spent yesterday at the carnival and it was a pretty good day. A small storm did roll through abbout 4pm, but it only lasted about 20 minutes and the rest of the evening was clear, including for the fireworks. I honestly couldn't believe the turnout for the fireworks! Last year there were about 75 people in the same location, this year it had to have been 300-400! I found my car looking like a jungle gym with people all over it.

Today and Sunday are looking gorgeous as well.

The sun has been out for two days!!!! But two days ago we had a thunder storm at night, that was literally a "gully washer."
But today was 100% NO RAIN!

I am going to need a hayer, to cut my lawn. At least THAT likes all the rain we have had.

We have some big ol' storms coming through here. It's very dark outside with heavy rain bands moving through, and thunder... and the worst is yet to come, I think.

It appears that way on the radar. Looks like I'm going to have to walk home in it, too.

Normally I love wild weather, but we've had so much rain over the last month or two, the thrill is all washed out of it.
