[DSL] Recommended ADSL,ADSL2+ modem

what brand is recommended for adsl/adsl2+ service netgear/dlink/actiontec. my line has some noise, i read some modems is better at tolerating noise than others

The Westell and the Thomson Speed Touch are the best with marginal lines. What does your ISP supply?

Thomson uses the Broadcom chip
Comtrend, it may have Broadcom or ADI.

it is a comtrend ct5361t modem. i can't find places that sells the speedtouch or westel modems new.
