Don't check in much on weekends and Mondays are part of my weekend. One thing that has me wondering is the One better then none statement in the flavor text. It leads me to believe the mafia were attempting a night kill that would net multiple victims rather then a single. The wondering part is what clues have they picked up on that would lead them to believe they could get multiples with one action? -- Founding member, 2002-2003, 2005-2006 Director of Communications, 2004-2005 Secretary for the Crunchenstein Project 93254336 |

But then I read it a second and third time... and decided that when it said "one is better than none" that is saying taht they killed SOMEONE just not who they intended to kill. |

| reply to drew I agree with BigReds, they wanted to Kill a certain player, but got Boudro instead. One is better than none for them, right? I would assume the switcheroo was because of a Bus Driver, because a Nexus would yield results too unpredictable for the Mafia to take the chance.

| reply to Dezbend Hello darkness my old friend......
Quiet in here today. I'm checking in at lunch, and thought there would be a whole mess of chatter.
Unvote: Bjl
I have no vote, and no leads. I don't think Jim's mistake was a mafia slip up, and I am pretty sure Gbcue and Dez are town. I just can't get any leads who the mafia are.
I do not think the mafia were going after multiple victims. From the flavor text, it just seemed they were surprised that Boudro was there instead of their original intended victim.
I'm holding on a vote until further information comes out. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |

It's hard to believe that, for the most part, we are still at the 'random vote' stage. |

| reply to Jim OK - Here's some info. I think I'm dead in the next night phase anyway.....
The mafia went after Gbcue last night. I know this for a fact. The reason they did this is that he role claimed earlier, and they know that if they kill him, town goes under a time limit. Gbcue must be protected at all cost.
If you don't believe me, lynch me. All will be revealed then. But remember - Someone must protect Gbcue!!!
I'm going back to my training. I'll try to check in later to see if I'm hanging from a rope. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |

| reply to Jim I'm here, but only for another 10 minutes, then there is a good chance I won't be able to check in again till tomorrow. I've been posting since the game started letting people know my office is getting carpet, and wouldn't be on for awhile. Probably not till tomorrow, and that's if we get all the files moved back in by then.
I did no unvote Jim, but looks like that was fixed. Seemed a few people started to take a look but it went off track again.
I tried saying it before as well, I'm pretty sure Archivis is up to something, just not sure what yet. The way he avoided me when I pointed him out for something, and his constant notion to go after only quiet people, something is up. Also his comment that he knew for sure 1 of the 3 we were on were bad. Well Boud got killed, gbcue is iffy, and that leaves Jim. Still sticking to my feelings that Jim is scum.
Also laugh at BR FoS on me for not being on, did you miss the 5+ posts from me stating that I wouldn't be on? He does seem to chim in just to say he has nothing to say... kinda odd.
Those are my thoughts. |
