| Wii game suggestions?
Hi. I am getting a Wii for my ~5 year old daughter (and whatever use my 2.5 yr old son can get out of it  ).
What are some of the best rated games that showcase the unique Wii controls for kids?
What are some of the best rated games that showcase the unique Wii controls for me?
There is a big library of games and I want to skim the best of the best to start out. Thanks for any suggestions. |

My son, also 5 loves to play Mario Kart, , Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario Party, Wario Ware, and Mario Galaxy. All which will put the Wii-mote to good use. Easy enough to pick up for the kids. I'm not sure what will suit your wants, but I enjoy all the same ones my kids do. |

Cool, thanks for the input. I will give some of the Mario games a try (Kart, Galaxy, etc.). I will have to get Punch Out at some point for myself. I played that the other day and thought that was fun. The game felt new again except for the button combos ingrained in my head haha.

I just picked up a Disney Princess game for my daughter and Super Mario Galaxy for me/whoever digs it. Both should arrive today. MarioKart is next. I am trying to find a good deal on that with a couple of wheels. I did not see the UP game yet though the kids dug the 3D movie. Do you use any Wii controller movements with that game or is it meant for a gamepad/controller?
