I'd like to reiterate my points made earlier in this game that I believe that at least a handful of the mafia are sitting in the shadows. The only confirmed we knew about was Chlen and he said just barely enough to keep active. There are others who are saying even less. We're voting off the most active players and suspecting others who are getting killed off in the night phase and they're all town.
I think if we're going to stab in the dark here, we need to actually go to the dark and start looking for lurkers. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

I realize we should still have a doctor alive... but then again, with a nexus or two or a bus driver... it just seems like too risky of a move... especially this early. |

The logic is that when people are "lurking" they may actually be town... because the mafia is trying to mess with people's heads.
It seems that more often than not that lurkers are actually townspeople. |

| Well, our approach of lynching the suspicious isn't working, what do you suggest? You're so very critical of anyone who bounces ideas around, but offer up no solutions. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

I'm also glad that there's only one who died this time, and not 2.
I'm kind of at a loss right now. I want to hear what everyone else thinks too. Especially shadow people. -- Are you in, or are you out? »Pub Games The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return. |

I will be the first to admit I am not the best player of this game. That is why I never offer a solution. I had done that in several games in the past and the mafia does a good job of saying "Hey that is mafia thinking... let's lynch him" and I am the next person to go.
Right now... I have nothing really to go on either that is why I don't have any solutions either.
Name anyone who looks suspicious? I honestly don't know if we have anything to og on in the voting patterns... we have one person slipping mentioning a cult (but I explained my thought on that type of slip up yesterday).
Zandra... my guess is we won't get much info from the people in the background... seems like we have that in a lot of games and even when we pressure them we don't get much from them. =-/
So right now .. I am at a loss too. |

| reply to ZandraBee His posts regarding going after those in the shadows have been frequent. Is it to draw attention away from the loudmouths for some reason? That would also include you and I, and a few others. Not quite ready to vote yet, but I'm actually looking at both you and Archivis right now. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |

 | I agree with almost every post. I have VERY limited posting activity till at least late tomorrow. I read what I could quickly, and from what I'm picking up... Archivis is getting more and more pushy with the "shadows" people. I tend to agree with it somewhat, but at the same time, if you just go with that theory, then all mafia has to do is talk alot and they'll be safe. I think they quiet ones are dead weight, but doesn't mean they are mafia. We didn't get one of them this day/night so it would be good if anything that pops up is said more and we do what we can.
Vote: Jim
To continue my vote for yesterday as well, since boudo was cleared, and gbcue was in the same "category/situation" as him... I still don't think all 3 were coincidences... wonder how happy Jim's fingers are now. |

| A couple of things that I read in my Day 2 re-read. If it comes to a vote, I'll post my thoughts. As of now, it's not strong at all. I have stronger suspicion of Archivis, but again, not enough to vote yet.
I did re-read the Jim section, and find that's not strong enough for me to vote on either. It really does look like a happy fingers mistake. The deeper thought on that might be that typing fast is like talking to someone when you're really drunk. The truth comes out subconsciously. That's not much to go on either, but it's a thought worth mentioning. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |
