WRT54GL as a AP

I have been using several WRT54GL's running Tomato as AP's. I cable the router to one of the 4 LAN ports and disable the WAN and DHCP. I was wondering if I could use any of the other LAN ports as if the device was a switch? I want to attach a PC to it but I don't know if I can, any advice?
Thanks

Definitely. The 4 ports form a switch in default configuration.

Someone familiar with Tomato could go one step further and, I think, suggest how to add the WAN port to that same switch. It can be done but I'm not familiar enough with Tomato in this regard. The WAN port could become like the extra "uplink" port available on some older routers.

Thank you, I found the setting in Tomato that changed the WAN port to a LAN port and it works great. I now have an AP and a switch, fantastic.
