Re: [INFO] Exterminators

I had some issues with those big bumble bees that bore into wood. All the bug chains wanted to make the project into a life long quest. A local guy came out and puffed some dust into the holes for $60, and that was the end of the bumble bee issue. I found him at switchboard.com

I was impressed with Bliss. Don't know if they cover your area.

You are probably safest going with a big name if your problem is common.

I use Braman. When I started googling reviews of the big guys, they didn't fare that well.

I have been happy with these folks, and I'm in the third or fourth year of using them. Braman is local at least.

So, who's had good/bad experiences with insect exterminators? I found some woodpeckers having lunch on the side of my garage, and upon inspection I noticed some kinda bug trails inside. I've heard 'em pecking on the house, too, so I want someone to come by and check things out.

I'm planning on going with one of the "big names" (e.g., Terminix, Orkin, etc) unless someone convinces me otherwise.

Cromwell/Middletown area.
