When you hook up any unit that has DHCP enabled it will tell you what IP to use by reading the Default Gateway after running the command "ipconfig /all" in a DOS Command Box. This is outlined in the FAQ below:
»Efficient Networks Forum FAQ »How do I Troubleshoot Web GUI Connection to 192.168.254.254?
============================== 060-e240-033 is a Bell Sympatico (now Bell Canada) unit and has a Firmware fix available but always verify the Part Number/Firmware revision before flashing. It uses IP »192.168.2.1
»Speedstream 5200 Updated Firmware HERE

060-e240-014 appears to be a Bridge only 5200 and it would not show a Default Gateway IP, (verify that this is true) as you have to setup your PC with a Static IP of 10.0.0.2 and add an ARP Entry to access the Modem at IP »10.0.0.1 using its MAC ID.
