Re: [Line Problem] Intermittent loss of DSL Sync w/SS4100 said by Notacop:Is there any possibility that the problems I am having are due to the UVerse rollout? Supposedly it is launching in our area next week and I am wondering if something they did may have hurt my performance... If anything, it would have helped. They condition the F2 for Uverse, which should be a good thing. OTOH, they probably neglect the F1, and deterioration there could hurt.
F1 is the copper span from the CO to a cross connect box (B-Box).
F2 is the copper span from the cross connect to the premises. Uverse utilizes the F2; but it also utilizes a fiber span from the VRAD back to the "headend".
I am not sure if they would run F1 from RT to cross connect. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
