Re: Not digital - but the end of Kodachrome. Supposedly it was down to 1% or less of their film sales. In fact it was only produced on time a year. and this last batch will be the last when it is gone.
While long a favorite of pro's, it was just too slow for the mass consumer market, Who prefered high shutter speeds (especially the shutter jabbers) and low light ability, and lost out to Ekrachrome and the like. (which could also be self processed).
