Re: [HN7000S] Online Backup - Carbonite

I bought a Mosy account and started an online backup a few weeks ago. As it was lumbering along I did some quick calc's and came up with: if it were running at max home plan upload speed 24x7 it would take about two and a half months to back up 100 GB. Figured at best the backup would be long out of date before then, and at worst I would burn out my transmitter. Then, I also thought about how difficult it would be to restore within FAP limits. So, I aborted the backup and canceled my account and went back to my multiple external drives.

Very good point: even if getting it uploaded isn't a problem, you'll have to d/l it back at some point.
