So are you saying that when they were here, in my home, and I signed my paperwork and read everything and the name was spelled correctly then. And when I gave them my check with my name on it...they couldn't get it right? And you're expecting them to get it right when I waste my gas and time to go see them face to face again?
Ignore the rude guys, Duchess. It is likely for security reasons, so nobody else can change the detail services on the account. This sort of thing varies by area depending on their experience. Since it is their mistake, do it when it's convienent/you happen to be going by the office.
