I got switched from Covad to Verizon a couple years back. You basically have no say in it; you're stuck with the switch. I liked being able to talk to the Covad techs here, especially after Earthlink pulled all their tech support from this forum. But those days are gone.
The AT&T Direct forum here is an excellent source of help, but I don't know if they'll assist directly with Earthlink customers provisioned through AT&T. I kind of doubt that they're allowed to do that, but I might be wrong.
What I noticed when I was switched was some line instability for a couple days, then slightly faster speeds and slightly higher pings. The connection's been dependable. I hope you have similar luck. |
