Frederick,MD | [OT] very bored here i broke my right ring finger at work friday. between the knuckle and wrist. the metacarpal. and yes the bone almost popped out through the skin. pretty sight. so i have the next 4 weeks off. so here i am typing with one finger with my left hand. not easy. so since i have time off i ask one question. where is the party? |

Wow. You make my day seem better. I just finished with a visit with my Mom. It was fairly busy and it was really hot during her stay. You can see some of the stuff we did here »Avery Island and other things to do She left yesterday. Last night my air conditioner decided to poop on itself. It was pushing 100 and I didn't get much sleep. However I didn't have any bones trying to escape from my skin so now I feel somewhat better.

Speaking of fingers and food, I saw this dude on TV last night breaking holes in coconuts with just his finger. Maybe he could be our bartender for the party! He could probably give you some physical therapy tips to strengthen your fingers.

Then again I broke right hand to a stupid lost tourist the just couldn't wait to get to the titty bar and turned left right in front of me on a scooter. Were do you think the word sinsister come from.... GOOGLE it.

Well thing is I am left handed.... for the months I had the cast on... when a signature was required oh you can't do thisw.... oh Yes i CAN....
FUNNY HOW ODD EVEN THOUGH 10%+ OF THE POPULATION PEOPLE STILL THINK HOW ODD THAT IS.
And back in EARLY school teachers (in ruller on the knucles days) tried to break me of that and went to my parents.... What they didn't know.... my father was left handed too... and he roundly told them SCREW YOU let him be who he is. (though of 4 kids I am the only one)
And unlie today many would SUE for left handed desks etc.... no such thing likee hime I just made do and just let me be,
And BTW took me an extra year to learn to tie my shoes because RIGHT HANDED MOM dutifully did it backwards... finaly was left alone to do it left handed... she had just not tried to mirror and done it right to her would have picked up immediately.
THATS how it works!!!
NOT SO FUNNY how even today stupid differences are still so segregated.... no longer left or right maybe... but there is probably some religion that still thinks lefties are the Satan Spawn.... and silly stuff like that. And why I happily live in Key West I have no problem (but many do) that gays are at least 10% of the population EVERYWHERE.... just like us lefties.

Frederick,MD | what was funny was the e.r. doc not telling me he was gonna set the bone. when he did,,,,well it was not funny then. i was chasing him around the e.r. as he was running. never caught him. after about 1/2 hour and a percocet later we were on speaking terms again. then we were laughing as he was telling me why he chose not to tell me. |

Well pain thresholds vary....of several broken bones mostly fractures but some really broken I don't think I have every had pain killer for the set.
Heck the last time multiple fracture hand wasn't even set for two days...clinic docs don't like working weekends 
Heck was even actually the on call ER doc.... just come see me on Mon

Thanks for the ER bill for nothing too!!! Why I never fully paid him.... didn't sue me knowing more than likely I would sue him... also a real drive to Miami before you go to him clutz as well later learned.

Oh man!!! after 5 looooooooong weeks in a cast I am supposed to get it off monday. The office called me and said if I want to come in on friday and x-ray to see if it can come off on friday.(I told them no as I am quite confortable with the cast on)  . cant wait. after 5 weeks of not working and being on this web site.......................... |
