ok, day two was not bad. the Doctor cleared me for full work on the 17th. so I get a paid vacation in Puerto Rico thanks to everyone who works. so thank you all. alot more movement today. I think full strength in 2-3 months. |

man, cast was taken off on fri. after three days I cannot get any more movement in hand. cannot make a fist or stretch out fingers.(been this way since monday). they said should be farther along,,,so phys therapy 2-3 times a week for 6-8 weeks.  I am hoping I can go back to work in a few weeks. |

Anyway, I decided to break out these large, very large Martini glasses, that were a gift, and make one.
I tell you.. Being single here in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I have had more "family" and "friends" visit. They bring things like a smoothie maker, martini glasses and everything else so they are comfortable being 15 minutes from the beach. Of course they are gifts. But when I mention, I don't use them. They reply, but they do. I guess I do too.
I feel so used.

Oh man!!! after 5 looooooooong weeks in a cast I am supposed to get it off monday. The office called me and said if I want to come in on friday and x-ray to see if it can come off on friday.(I told them no as I am quite confortable with the cast on) . cant wait. after 5 weeks of not working and being on this web site.......................... |

Well pain thresholds vary....of several broken bones mostly fractures but some really broken I don't think I have every had pain killer for the set.
Heck the last time multiple fracture hand wasn't even set for two days...clinic docs don't like working weekends 
Heck was even actually the on call ER doc.... just come see me on Mon

Thanks for the ER bill for nothing too!!! Why I never fully paid him.... didn't sue me knowing more than likely I would sue him... also a real drive to Miami before you go to him clutz as well later learned.

what was funny was the e.r. doc not telling me he was gonna set the bone. when he did,,,,well it was not funny then. i was chasing him around the e.r. as he was running. never caught him. after about 1/2 hour and a percocet later we were on speaking terms again. then we were laughing as he was telling me why he chose not to tell me. |
