USG100 as wireless router (via PCMCIA)?

I can't access the manual on the USG 100 right now but I am wondering if it is equipped with a Wireless N card via the PCMCIA bridge if it can act as a full wireless router and DHCP server for wireless clients on the network?

One advantage of getting the USG100 and using it in this fashion would be the ability to retire a small Wireless G Tomato based router.

One other brief question, is the device able to route between two subnets VLANs and provide separate DHCP function for each? We have a VoIP phone network that I would like to be able to put into its own subnet for security and performance purposes.

Thanks.

No. It can not. At least not with that card.

Why can't you access the manual btw ? If you can post this question you are obvious online.

All ZyXEL Manuals, User Guides, Support Notes, all are online. See for this one: »ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/ZYWALL_USG_100/use···2.11.pdf

Or go to »ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/ and do some browsing yourself.

Apparently the Zyxel site doesn't like Safari, and I've temporarily uninstalled Firefox.

Then use any other FTP client that is installed by default on your MAC. Open a terminal window and enter "ftp".
