I just solved my own sync problem tonight by replacing the cable from my jack to the NID. The original cable installed waaaay back when I first had ISDN was *inside wire* ran all the way from the jack in the aprtment to the NID. It was falling apart, and had been caught in my neigbors window and crushed several times. I'd spliced it with some beanies a couple of times, but it finally was time to fix it the right way. Ran a new outdoor rated CAT5E cable, and now all is fine. -- One man's Magic is another man's Engineering. |
