Re: [DD-WRT] Tx rate for dd-wrt Optimal is tough. I would say there really is none. Being in the same room would be a good start. But you have to count for all interference around you. That is going to give you a performance hit as well. I range in the 48-66 dBm for my 2 devices in use. It is always switching in between that. But the laptop is in the next room and the Wii is in the living room. That is fine though for 54mb connection. Channel wise. Use this program »www.metageek.net/products/inssider and walk around the inside/outside of the house. You can then see what channels are taken and what you have to work with for a selection. |
