Well thats new. I really hope my Green Bay Packers dont do that.

The practice jersey's are one thing but i hope they dont do the game day uniforms. Ive watched soccer and i never really noticed that. I guess it works for them. I dont know if it would work in the NFL.

Thanks for the info.
Even though it's so different from Football here, it's not that bad looking. I think it's because the design is so simple, A big Sponsor logo, and a small Team patch.

Yup, most soccer teams will have a small patch with their team logo, and the main logo will be the sponsor, which might change every few years.

Fans and teams seem to embrace the sponsor as part of their team actually, as the sponsor almost becomes synonymous with the team itself.

As someone who's never really watched Soccer, that's like the opposite of what I'm used to seeing. That little patch in the first pic is the Team Logo, I assume?

Kind of makes a 3 inch by 4 inch "sponsor" patch seem insignificant.

As a life long football (soccer) fan, wearing corporate sponsors on jerseys only seems normal.

Of course, some of the older owners won't use these patches since they feel it undermines the tradition of the league. Ralph Wilson will send the Bills on the field wearing good ole-fashioned sandwich boards.
He will make them dress like this for games

Eventually, players will look like NASCAR vehicles.
The next step after that will be adorning the ball.

Madden, and to some extent that quote, will always be somewhere in my mind when talking about Football.

Hey, maybe they could get John Madden to stand on the sidelines and say "Boom! Tough Actin' Tinactin" every once in a while.
As long as I live, I will never get that line out of my head. I have a habit of yelling "Boom!" when I finish or accomplish something, and often I can't help but follow it up with "Tough actin' Tinactin".

A single 3 inch by 4 inch patch probably won't be too distracting at all. As long as it's a single patch.
It is. For starters. Then it's 2 patches, then helmet advertisements. Eventually the stretcher crew will have an extra member, miked up, so that when they're taking a player off the field with a broken leg he can do a voiceover extolling the virtues of arthritis-strength tylenol.

What if they just blew that off?
They probably get some serious shit in the review since they're fucking with league revenue.

I just remember that without commercials and advertising, a lot of shit that's currently free won't be... like 99% of the Intarweb.
People don't have free internet. This is a bad argument or example to support your point.

It's like there's an echo in here.

Giants too. Timex, I think. I think Tomex will be the name of their practice facility and during season, timeouts will be "Timex Timeouts".

I always wondered if the national announcers are required to say that kind of thing and the corporate stadium names. What if they just blew that off?
