I could never be a marketing guy either even though one of the most successful guys I know has been in that most of his life and is also a very successful restaurant owner..
I realize advertising and sponsorship is necessary but I can't stand how commercialism has taken over so much..It is one of the main reasons I don't watch television on a regular basis..
The older I become the more I get the idea of going into the woods to live somewhere...Kind of like the Unabomber lifestyle... but without the bomb fetish. |

And I consider that a fair deal, btw. Though I'm sure Verizon and every other company on this Earth would appreciate it if I still saw advertising from them anyway, I don't.
Yet Verizon still gets their 40 bucks every month-- so don't tell me it's advertising that makes the "Intarweb free". |
