| Get a hold of you ISP and ask:
• What are the showing as your sync rate. Ask them to provision the MODEM.
• If that does nothing, ask for a truck roll to check if there is something between the drop and the pole that maybe an issue.
• Ask that the tech bring a laptop and a test MODEM to check for computer or MODEM issues.

Well I got a hold of a tier 3 tech and he basically explained they just approved new server upgrades or something because I'm connected to basically an overused block or whatever. So he said they've been approved and should be in use with in a month or 2. He said the bit rate is fine and its set that way to handle really high burst speeds. I had a sinking feeling it was really just network oversubscription  So have you heard this before and do the upgrades really come ?  |
