SB5100 Cable Modem freezing

I have owned an SB5100 cable modem for approximately 5 years now. Over the past few months, I'm having issues where the modem will freeze/lock-up every 24-48 hours. All five lights will be steady-on, and the unit is unreachable via ping or the management URL. Disconnecting/reconnecting the power source resolves the problem (temporarily).

Might there be a way to resolve this problem? Perhaps updated firmware? Or do I need to replace my unit?

Thank you.
