Mark Jacobs forced out by EA

»herald.warhammeronline.com/warhe···r?id=841

EAs reorg dumps Jacobs and allows BioWare founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk to take over the new MMO/RPG section.

Ray Muzyka is a huge poker player. Taking a gamble is what it's all about.

I'm glad Bioware stepped in. Maybe there is still hope that Warhammer will be fixed.

Eh, well I agree with that. Warhammer wasn't exactly thrilling with hardly any end game. Hopefully these guys can put the RPG back into warhammer, like it should have been done.

If you want to play Warhammer. Get out your tediously painted miniatures and duke it out on the table!

Its too late for WHO. They had 9 months to fix their game and failed, didnt listen, etc like most other MMO companies. The only reason alot of people still play is there isnt anythign new out. Aion comes out Sept 22 and will sink this game badly. 3/4 of my guild of 70+ active people all plan to leave for Aion to give you some insight.

Anyone forget what EA did to Origin? The company that started MMORPGs with Ultima Online.

Wasn't Origin who did the Crusader series of games?

Man, that makes me miss No Remorse badly. It was one of the first casualties of my murderous PlayStation(s) and their disc-ruining drives. At the time, I certainly couldn't even afford a PC, much less one that was capable of playing any kind of games

Those were some fun/twisted games for sure. Your remark sent me off on a google detour that lasted about an hour, and ended up here:

Talk about a trip down amnesia lane, I played SO many of these terrible games (and the good ones too).

Even at $20 a pop (and many were significantly higher), I can't imagine the thousands of dollars of mine that are represented on those pages...
