Re: Hmm wifi on ferries?

I can't recall if it's 3G or not, but you used to be able to purchase a Linksys wireless router with a PC card slot for your cell phone modem card. Then if you really got into it, you could add a cell phone booster box to help with that cards RX signals to boost speed a bit. (would also help other people on boat)

It's a start anyway.

The Caps would be the problem though, that and reselling the service.

Depending on the ferry route. You may be better off shooting a 900Mhz signal to the ferry from the main land for service.

I'll start reading about 900Mhz but I think there are some restrictions with this maybe? Does it still fall under the unlicensed regulations?
