Rebekah update...

She was over to our house for a few days and here is a picture. As you can see she has a lot of self confidence as would be expected from someone who has survived Cancer and a heart transplant. And they have been able to adjust her meds so that her face is not all puffed up. She takes more pills than any two of us put together most likely. She must have her temperature taken every morning upon waking and her pulse every night a half hour after going to bed. Other than little things like that and having to have air conditioning she is living a somewhat normal childhood.
Thanks to all who have been praying for her and please keep it up.

 Oh, Grandpa Ron, she is growing from a lovely child to such a beautiful young lady and she does look so very well adjusted.

I'm sorry she still needs to deal with the pills and other conditions, but I can see how all that probably seems quite mild compared to all she has been through in her young life.

She remains in my prayers, yes. She is ours, too, you know.

 Ron, I'm so glad to see how wonderful Rebekah looks -- and that she has a head full of hair again!!!

I continue to be amazed at the ability of youth to survive the worst. She looks ready to take on the world -- what a great kid!!!
