Traffic was rebalanced along the 2 OC-12's in place and that is why you are seeing normal speeds again.  However, there is still the issue with another 3rd OC-12 being installed which will resolve the issue with peak hours latency.]]></description>

There are multiple issues going on.  Cards are being replaced in data pops and fiber is being cleaned.  There is also a signaling issue with some vendor equipment that needs to be upgraded.  They are not just sitting back, rather working on this around the clock.  The engineer working on it yesterday (and today now) was up for 20 hours trying to figure this out...   ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1644288"><b>chazz13</b></A> : sorry - i have no confidence that embarq will actually solve the problem anytime soon.  in may we were told that the problem would be fixed by the first week of june - now it appears that they are saying mid-july (maybe).  at best this whole mess looks to be some pretty poor planning by embarq.  at worst embarq is selling services that it can't support.  i am frustrated because up until the past few months I have liked my service and would have recommended it to anyone.  embarq owes an apology to all of its affected customers but you can bet we won't get it.  i guess i will have to check into cable modem service - they are offering higher speeds anyway.  by the way - my speed tonight is about 500K on a 5meg connection.]]></description>

I'm a gamer and an employee and feel it to. Were waiting on a new trunk to open up, turn up date has been set as july 8th although I've heard rumors of trouble and might be pushed back a week or 2 just can't get the facts. If I get new info I'll gladly post it. But that is the issue I have no reason to lie about it and it will be fixed. Give it a little more time it's coming.]]></description>

I've been working to get the pipes balanced for a temp fix til the new is up and was told they can't balance due to capacity (a first I've had it done each of the last 7 months but since its so close to turn up date is why I think they won't do it, its very time consuming from what I've heard). Its ok overnight and early in day but as more traffic starts to flow its like rush hour in the mixmaster. sorry I'm just as bummed as you are no cod5 for awhile. ]]></description>
