Re: The Telus iPhone? Maybe There are two problems, first is the telus iphone won't be able to fall back onto the CDMA network, whereas the fido/rogers iphone can fall back onto GSM.
Secondly, tethering on telus costs $8 per megabyte, whereas with fido/rogers it is included in the data plan.

That's not exactly true. Rogers said it's included in the data plan until 2010. Who knows what'll happen after that. Anyone who wanted to tether previously would have to jailbreak their phone to do it. |

It's true there may be an additional charge in the future ($5/mo maybe?), heck telus might even lower its prices from $8/MB (it would surprise me tho)... Anything is possible. But as it stands now, tethering is included on all data plans above 1GB. |
