| USA HD -- Burn Notice and Royal Pains Just FYI, the guide does not have the HD versions of these marked as new tonight, you may want to check your DVRs.
Also -- Sunday night, True Blood and Hung are not marked as new on HBO HD.
Oddly, all these are marked new on the SD versions of the channels.

The TiVo guide has all of those programs new, in SD and HD. Thanks, TiVo. I can always count on you.

When I was looking at another guide, it said "Repeat." I was thinking, repeat!!!...why in the hell is it a repeat. It should be a new one. But based on the description, I could tell that it was a new one. It's probably just someone's stupid error.

The day that Hulu adds HD that can be streamed to a set-top box...will be the same day that many more folks cancel cable / FiOS TV.

ABC's HD online streaming was acceptable but like Cogdis , I prefer to download the HD equivalents (and then use Boxee to manage it all I get that, but only a small minority of cable subscribers have (or want) dedicated computers in their living room.
To get the masses to cancel cable, dedicated HD streaming would have to be available thorugh an inexpensive STB or a gaming console like the Xbox360, PS3, etc.
Realistically, this is not likely to ever happen, at least not for free. The latest talk is that Hulu will limit much of its content to pay subscribers at some point. I would personally have no problem paying a modest fee for Hulu if everything were in 1080p and available to a new or existing box like the Xbox360, PS3, Roku, or TiVo.

The companies that own hulu also own cable companies and have 0 desire to give up their cable TV revenue. It's quite likely that this is the reason that hulu's parent companies made them block boxee/xmbc/ps3 ect.. viewing of hulu's content. (I say quite likely but I'll eat my laptop if that isn't the reason )

Newscorp, Fox parent company does have 34% interest in DirecTV if that's what you are thinking of. Correct me if I am wrong.
