IF somebody would to use "fully homomorphic encryption" THEN and ONLY THEN and ONLY on this encryption would the IBM solution allowed to retrieve the encrypted content without identifiying the origin or destination.
This is NOT retroactive. So, sleep tight and do NOT use any encryption algorithm that is "fully homomorphic". | |

1 edit | NO your both missing the point if they can do this then the data cold be then interpreted by some app gathering source , anyone whom cant see that is misleading people, and IBM don't want you to think up new ways to encrypt so go believe the two above

| You're getting into tin-foil hat territory again... IBM's breakthrough has to do with NEW types of encryption that INCREASE security when encrypted data needs to be processed. It doesn't affect existing encryption, and it never will.
