Tim-

What about those who are currently paying the $99, and already have the equipment, etc.? From what I can tell, since you haven't paid anything to acquire them, you have nothing to lose by "Grandfathering" them. Or am I missing something?

Obviously, I want you guys to make money and stay in business, on the other hand, I fear "sticker shock" when the pricing is finalized.

Of course, I did understand that I got promotional pricing when I signed up.
We may offer renewal specials at some point for those that want to renew early at promotional pricing, but at this point haven't announced any. If we offer a renewal special, we'll announce it when it's closer to the first big wave of renewals.

We've also been allowing anyone to extend their current service at the current promotional pricing (instead of renewing at standard or a future renewal special) when they've asked to do so, but it's just not an option we advertise. Anyone is welcome to do that by just contacting support and requesting it.

OK. That's actually way more than fair. I've only been with you for a short time, but have been more than satisfied. I signed up for a year, and if things continue the way they have, I wouldn't hesitate to renew for another year, whether or not the promotional pricing is in effect. Not that I'd turn down a chance to save money!

I did see the renewal special in my vPanel, and took advantage of it by renewing for another year. The service has been running so well that snapping up another year at the promotional price was a no-brainer!

Thanks Tim!
