something dont add up

i went on vacation for 2 weeks...unplugged electrical appliances, except for the fridge and left one light on (one of those efficient light bulbs) .

so the electric bill for the month (including the 2 weeks i wasnt here) shows almost no decrease in price. $65 (may) vs $63 (june). avg daily usage shows it went down since last month (about 30-40% lower). so WHy in mother flux capacitors is there so little change in price??

Might it be ConEd raising the per KWh charge up to summer pricing levels?

Or perhaps they estimated the bill?

Interesting chart here, NY does rank up there:

There was a recent rate hike but I don't know when it took in effect.

I've looked over my bills and I've noticed that ConEd charges more during the summer months per KWh than during other seasons. That usually accounts for the higher bills I encounter between June and September.

But here on Wrong Island, the charge currently is between 21 and 22 cents per killowatt hour.

Look at this link that an actual customer posted of a copy of his bill in 1998 and then last year.
The rates have NOT gone down since last year. I can confirm that my rates are almost identical to his.
