janderso1 : The last time I tried to update TI 2009 it told me my SN was invalid and gave me a URL to check it and if necessary get a replacement. :( The check program indicated I had a valid SN (which I paid for and is registered with them) and asked me to email the Acronis registry entries and msinfo which I did. I also restored the PC from a backup using TI2009 under Bartpe and reinstalled the prior version that accepted my paid for SN. After two days without a reply to my email I checked the Acronis site and they had removed the update and replaced it with the older version that still works for me.

My educated guess is that they added a check for some pirated SNs and the check isn’t very accurate. :(

I am going to wait awhile for the dust to settle before I try this upgrade and I will have a current backup before I try it.
--
Jim Anderson
