I've had one person say it might be sage, but doesn't seem to look like any of the pictures of sage that I can find. Is it a weed or something else?
Can anyone ID it?

kudos:19 | I doubt that it's sage. I think sage should have a more pointed leaf. It may be some other herb but it strikes me more like a weed. However, I am a total neophyte when it comes to plants/herbs. |

It reminds me of the weed bedstraw aka Galium aparine.
Do the leaves feel sticky? |

1 edit | The leaves are too smooth. I'm thinking it's a weed also. Why couldn't it be that basil leaf in the upper left corner?  I've seen this before, but I have no idea where. |

I believe your unknown plant is Mollugo verticillata (carpetweed). It is an annual plant from tropical America and is a common weed in disturbed areas in North America. |
