Re: [ID?] Unknown plant ID help

I believe your unknown plant is Mollugo verticillata (carpetweed). It is an annual plant from tropical America and is a common weed in disturbed areas in North America.

The leaves are too smooth. I'm thinking it's a weed also. Why couldn't it be that basil leaf in the upper left corner? I've seen this before, but I have no idea where.

It reminds me of the weed bedstraw aka Galium aparine.
Do the leaves feel sticky?

I doubt that it's sage. I think sage should have a more pointed leaf. It may be some other herb but it strikes me more like a weed. However, I am a total neophyte when it comes to plants/herbs.

Unknown herb
I recently planted some herbs from some seeds that I received. However, I can't seem to ID one of the plants that started growing.

I've had one person say it might be sage, but doesn't seem to look like any of the pictures of sage that I can find. Is it a weed or something else?

Can anyone ID it?

Thanks
