LOL - the sites are generally secured... Where abouts are you at? If you're really in QC, then a couple of 750ml bottles of Maudite may open some doors...

very nice dc.. looks to be primarily telco.... how old is this dc? I dont see it being abused by the "lazy tech" disease.... (ie: different color patch cables, new cables not properly cable managed/labeled, etc, etc, etc)...

very nice.... if I was looking to colo there, i'd be inclined to signed by the cleanliness and organization of that place

This is the telco "floor" within the DC... We don't do any hosting on this floor, but one of our functions is to support the hosting operations within the building. We've got (I believe) about 70k sq ft of hosting space here.

This floor's only about 4 years old; but has experienced insane growth in the last 12 months.

The guys that work here have done a GREAT job, and take alot of care, as you've noticed... I wish all my sites looked like this!

I love to see jobs where the techs take pride in their work. Everything looks so professional, and clean. Sure makes the next guys job easier when he has to do any maintenance on it too.

Nice!! I work in a NOC supporting a WAN for a major ISP.

We have a CO downstairs that is enormous. I love my job... and being able to goto any CO in my company is a nice thing to. lol.

you realize that once your computer has touched a cisco device, if it touches something running junos afterwards, it will cause your computer to blue screen

You will get the "ejecting cd" mouse courser for hours, and it wont respond to anything.

Ive had that plenty of times, but never when Ive been near a Juniper, infact its mostly when Im near/plugged into/connected somehow to a Cisco device.

Stupid Mac.

Maybe he was worried about someone using CSI or Law & Order techniques to turn a blurry image into a perfectly clear and crisp image so they could read what is on the labels.
