Re: Motorola IC502 contacts

This might help:

Thanks cwnorris See Profile. The documentation seems to suggest you have to copy the contacts to the SIM card using SIM Manager on the phone for this to work, which is in line with what I experienced, I had a guy at work who had one (he hated it), he wanted me to use our SIM copier to copy over to his new phone and it came up blank. I didn't realize it had a SIM Manager on board (it wasn't a company phone), but that makes sense now, my i930 way back when had the same thing.

Regardless of what the site says, I used it for two years with my ic502.

I don't remember if I had to do anything special to get it to work, but it does work.

Use the iden phonebook manager:

Nope, that's not going to work. Taken right from your link:

"This software application is intended for iDEN phones that incorporate the SIM card technology excluding the i2000, i2000plus, i920, i930, ic502, ic402 and ic902."

@verizon.net

  I would like to capture all of my contacts on my Motorola ic502 phone, and load them into outlook or a spreadsheet.

I have looked at the Motorola phone tools, but none of them say they are compatible with the ic502.

Does anyone know what software I need and where to get it?

Or, does the phone look like a disk drive when I plug the USB connector into a PC?

Thanks,

JEP
