That counts as far as I am concerned, not everything needs to be an actual "app" - afterall that's what the "real internet" was supposed to be on the device, right?

| DirecTV has a real iPhone app too.
But, DirecTV doesn't have two-way schedule management. They simply allow you to select a recording, then send down a signal from the satellite that says "Record this as a series" or "Record once". There's no way to confirm it went through or manage conflicts (or even know if there is a conflict).
AT&T's is much more advanced, allowing you to see what's scheduled and make whatever changes you need. -- AT&T U-Hearse Your funeral. Delivered.
